To start etcd automatically at system startup, add the following to
your /etc/rc.d/rc.local:

To stop etcd automatically at system shutdown, add the following to
your /etc/rc.d/rc.local_shutdown:
if [ -x /etc/rc.d/rc.etcd ]; then
