2024-09-11tests/functional: Convert the multiprocess avocado test into a standalone testThomas Huth
This test handles both, aarch64 and x86_64, with the same test code (apart from some initial setup), so don't split this file by target but add a check for self.arch in the main test function. Message-ID: <20240903051333.102494-1-thuth@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Thomas Huth <thuth@redhat.com>
2023-11-16tests/avocado/multiprocess: Add asset hashes to silence warningsThomas Huth
The multiprocess test is currently succeeding with an annoying warning: (1/2) tests/avocado/multiprocess.py:Multiprocess.test_multiprocess_x86_64: WARN: Test passed but there were warnings during execution. Check the log for details In the log, you can find an entry like: WARNI| No hash provided. Cannot check the asset file integrity. Add the proper asset hashes to avoid those warnings. 2023-03-22tests/avocado: probe for multi-process support before running testAlex Bennée
A recent attempt to let avocado run more tests on the CentOS stream build failed because there was no gating on the multiprocess feature. Like missing accelerators avocado should gracefully skip when the feature is not enabled. In this case we use the existence of the proxy device as a proxy for multi-process support. 2021-11-08tests/avocado: Rename avocado_qemu.Test -> QemuSystemTestPhilippe Mathieu-Daudé
To run user-mode emulation tests, we introduced the avocado_qemu.QemuUserTest which inherits from avocado_qemu.QemuBaseTest. System-mode emulation tests are based on the avocado_qemu.Test class, which also inherits avocado_qemu.QemuBaseTest. To avoid confusion, rename it as avocado_qemu.QemuSystemTest. 2021-11-08tests/acceptance: rename tests acceptance to tests avocadoWillian Rampazzo
In the discussion about renaming the `tests/acceptance` [1], the conclusion was that the folders inside `tests` are related to the framework running the tests and not directly related to the type of the tests. This changes the folder to `tests/avocado` and adjusts the MAKEFILE, the CI related files and the documentation.
