2022-12-14cleanup: Tweak and re-run return_directly.cocciMarkus Armbruster
Tweak the semantic patch to drop redundant parenthesis around the return expression. Coccinelle drops a comment in hw/rdma/vmw/pvrdma_cmd.c; restored manually. Coccinelle messes up vmdk_co_create(), not sure why. Change dropped, will be done manually in the next commit. Line breaks in target/avr/cpu.h and hw/rdma/vmw/pvrdma_cmd.c tidied up manually. Whitespace in tools/virtiofsd/fuse_lowlevel.c tidied up manually. checkpatch.pl complains "return of an errno should typically be -ve" two times for hw/9pfs/9p-synth.c. Preexisting, the patch merely makes it visible to checkpatch.pl. 2022-05-03tests: move libqtest.h back under qtest/Marc-André Lureau
Since commit a2ce7dbd917 ("meson: convert tests/qtest to meson"), libqtest.h is under libqos/ directory, while libqtest.c is still in qtest/. Move back to its original location to avoid mixing with libqos/. 2020-12-15qtest/pvpanic: Test panic option that allows VM to continueAlejandro Jimenez
Test the scenario where the -action panic=none parameter is used to signal that the VM must continue executing after a guest panic occurs. 2020-11-11pvpanic: Advertise the PVPANIC_CRASHLOADED event supportPaolo Bonzini
Advertise both types of events as supported when the guest OS queries the pvpanic device. Currently only PVPANIC_PANICKED is exposed; PVPANIC_CRASHLOADED must also be advertised, but only on new machine types. 2020-10-12qtest: switch users back to qtest_qmp_receiveMaxim Levitsky
Let test use the new functionality for buffering events. The only remaining users of qtest_qmp_receive_dict are tests that fuzz the QMP protocol. Tested with 'make check-qtest'. 2020-10-12qtest: rename qtest_qmp_receive to qtest_qmp_receive_dictMaxim Levitsky
In the next patch a new version of qtest_qmp_receive will be reintroduced that will buffer received qmp events for later consumption in qtest_qmp_eventwait_ref No functional change intended. 2020-01-12test: Move qtests to a separate directoryThomas Huth
The tests directory itself is pretty overcrowded, and it's hard to see which test belongs to which test subsystem (unit, qtest, ...). Let's move the qtests to a separate folder for more clarity.
