2021-01-20iotests: define group in each iotestVladimir Sementsov-Ogievskiy
We are going to drop group file. Define group in tests as a preparatory step. The patch is generated by cd tests/qemu-iotests grep '^[0-9]\{3\} ' group | while read line; do file=$(awk '{print $1}' <<< "$line"); groups=$(sed -e 's/^... //' <<< "$line"); awk "NR==2{print \"# group: $groups\"}1" $file > tmp; cat tmp > $file; done Signed-off-by: Vladimir Sementsov-Ogievskiy <vsementsov@virtuozzo.com> Reviewed-by: Eric Blake <eblake@redhat.com> Message-Id: <20210116134424.82867-7-vsementsov@virtuozzo.com> Signed-off-by: Eric Blake <eblake@redhat.com>
2020-12-11iotests: Enable fuse for many testsMax Reitz
Many tests (that do not support generic protocols) can run just fine with FUSE-exported images, so allow them to. Note that this is no attempt at being definitely complete. There are some tests that might be modified to run on FUSE, but this patch still skips them. This patch only tries to pick the rather low-hanging fruits. Note that 221 and 250 only pass when .lseek is correctly implemented, which is only possible with a libfuse that is 3.8 or newer. 2020-12-11iotests: Derive image names from $TEST_IMGMax Reitz
Avoid creating images with custom filenames in $TEST_DIR, because non-file protocols may want to keep $TEST_IMG (and all other test images) in some other directory. 2020-05-18iotests/229: Use blkdebug to inject an errorKevin Wolf
229 relies on the mirror running into an I/O error when the target is smaller than the source. After changing mirror to catch this condition while starting the job, this test case won't get a job that is paused for an I/O error any more. Use blkdebug instead to inject an error. 2020-01-06iotests: Use _rm_test_img for deleting test imagesMax Reitz
Just rm will not delete external data files. Use _rm_test_img every time we delete a test image. (In the process, clean up the indentation of every _cleanup() this patch touches.) ((Also, use quotes consistently. I am happy to see unquoted instances like "rm -rf $TEST_DIR/..." go.)) 2019-03-08qemu-iotests: Improve portability by searching bash in the $PATHPhilippe Mathieu-Daudé
Bash is not always installed as /bin/bash. In particular on OpenBSD, the package installs it in /usr/local/bin. Use the 'env' shebang to search bash in the $PATH. Patch created mechanically by running: $ git grep -lE '#! ?/bin/bash' -- tests/qemu-iotests \ | while read f; do \ sed -i 's|^#!.\?/bin/bash$|#!/usr/bin/env bash|' $f; \ done Reviewed-by: Eric Blake <eblake@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Philippe Mathieu-Daudé <philmd@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Kevin Wolf <kwolf@redhat.com>

2018-12-13json: Fix to reject duplicate object member namesMarkus Armbruster
The JSON parser happily accepts duplicate object member names. The last value wins. 2018-11-19qemu-iotests: remove unused variable 'here'Mao Zhongyi
Running git grep '\$here' tests/qemu-iotests has 0 hits, which means we are setting a variable that has no use. It appears that commit e8f8624d removed the last use. So execute the following cmd to remove all of the 'here=...' lines as dead code. sed -i '/^here=/d' $(git grep -l '^here=' tests/qemu-iotests) Cc: kwolf@redhat.com Cc: mreitz@redhat.com Cc: eblake@redhat.com Suggested-by: Eric Blake <eblake@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Mao Zhongyi <maozhongyi@cmss.chinamobile.com> Message-Id: <20181024094051.4470-3-maozhongyi@cmss.chinamobile.com> Reviewed-by: Eric Blake <eblake@redhat.com> [eblake: touch up commit message, reorder series, rebase to master] Signed-off-by: Eric Blake <eblake@redhat.com>
