2018-11-19qemu-iotests: remove unused variable 'here'Mao Zhongyi
Running git grep '\$here' tests/qemu-iotests has 0 hits, which means we are setting a variable that has no use. It appears that commit e8f8624d removed the last use. So execute the following cmd to remove all of the 'here=...' lines as dead code. sed -i '/^here=/d' $(git grep -l '^here=' tests/qemu-iotests) Cc: kwolf@redhat.com Cc: mreitz@redhat.com Cc: eblake@redhat.com Suggested-by: Eric Blake <eblake@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Mao Zhongyi <maozhongyi@cmss.chinamobile.com> Message-Id: <20181024094051.4470-3-maozhongyi@cmss.chinamobile.com> Reviewed-by: Eric Blake <eblake@redhat.com> [eblake: touch up commit message, reorder series, rebase to master] Signed-off-by: Eric Blake <eblake@redhat.com>
2018-01-23iotests: Fix 020 for vmdkMax Reitz
vmdk cannot work with anything but vmdk backing files, so make the backing file be the same format as the overlay. Reported-by: John Snow <jsnow@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Max Reitz <mreitz@redhat.com> Message-id: 20171123020832.8165-11-mreitz@redhat.com Reviewed-by: John Snow <jsnow@redhat.com> Reviewed-by: Fam Zheng <famz@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Max Reitz <mreitz@redhat.com>
2018-01-23iotests: Forbid 020 for non-file protocolsMax Reitz
This test does funny things like TEST_IMG="TEST_IMG.base" _make_test_img that usually only work with the file protocol. More specifically, they do not work with the most interesting non-file protocols, so we might as well skip this for anything but file. 2017-04-24qemu-iotests: exclude vxhs from image creation via protocolJeff Cody
The protocol VXHS does not support image creation. Some tests expect to be able to create images through the protocol. Exclude VXHS from these tests. Signed-off-by: Jeff Cody <jcody@redhat.com>
2016-04-15qemu-iotests: tests: do not set unused tmp variableSascha Silbe
The previous commit removed the last usage of ${tmp} inside the tests themselves; the only remaining users are sourced by check. So we can now drop this variable from the tests. 2014-01-22qemu-iotests: Add _unsupported_imgopts for vmdk subformatsFam Zheng
Some cases are not applicable for vmdk subformats those don't support certain features, e.g. backing file, and some others can't run on mult-file image, e.g. monolithicFlat. This adds declaration in test cases to skip them automatically, so that iotests on vmdk can go more smoothly (without manually picking of cases for each subformat).
