2021-05-12Drop the deprecated unicore32 targetMarkus Armbruster
Target unicore32 was deprecated in commit 8e4ff4a8d2b, v5.2.0. See there for rationale. Cc: Guan Xuetao <gxt@mprc.pku.edu.cn> Signed-off-by: Markus Armbruster <armbru@redhat.com> Message-Id: <20210503084034.3804963-3-armbru@redhat.com> Acked-by: Thomas Huth <thuth@redhat.com>
2021-02-05cpu: tcg_ops: move to tcg-cpu-ops.h, keep a pointer in CPUClassClaudio Fontana
we cannot in principle make the TCG Operations field definitions conditional on CONFIG_TCG in code that is included by both common_ss and specific_ss modules. Therefore, what we can do safely to restrict the TCG fields to TCG-only builds, is to move all tcg cpu operations into a separate header file, which is only included by TCG, target-specific code. This leaves just a NULL pointer in the cpu.h for the non-TCG builds. This also tidies up the code in all targets a bit, having all TCG cpu operations neatly contained by a dedicated data struct. 2021-02-05cpu: Introduce TCGCpuOperations structEduardo Habkost
The TCG-specific CPU methods will be moved to a separate struct, to make it easier to move accel-specific code outside generic CPU code in the future. Start by moving tcg_initialize(). The new CPUClass.tcg_opts field may eventually become a pointer, but keep it an embedded struct for now, to make code conversion easier. 2019-08-19targets (various): use softfloat-helpers.h where we canAlex Bennée
Generally the cpu and non-FP helper files just want to manipulate the softfloat flags. For this they can just use the -helpers.h include which brings in a minimal number of inline helpers. 2018-10-18target/unicore32: remove tlb_flush from uc32_init_fnEmilio G. Cota
As far as I can tell tlb_flush does not need to be called this early. tlb_flush is eventually called after the CPU has been realized. This change paves the way to the introduction of tlb_init, which will be called from cpu_exec_realizefn. 2018-02-21target/*/cpu.h: remove softfloat.hAlex Bennée
As cpu.h is another typically widely included file which doesn't need full access to the softfloat API we can remove the includes from here as well. Where they do need types it's typically for float_status and the rounding modes so we move that to softfloat-types.h as well. As a result of not having softfloat in every cpu.h call we now need to add it to various helpers that do need the full softfloat.h definitions. 2016-12-20Move target-* CPU file into a target/ folderThomas Huth
We've currently got 18 architectures in QEMU, and thus 18 target-xxx folders in the root folder of the QEMU source tree. More architectures (e.g. RISC-V, AVR) are likely to be included soon, too, so the main folder of the QEMU sources slowly gets quite overcrowded with the target-xxx folders. To disburden the main folder a little bit, let's move the target-xxx folders into a dedicated target/ folder, so that target-xxx/ simply becomes target/xxx/ instead.
