2018-05-17fpu/softfloat: Specialize on snan_bit_is_oneRichard Henderson
Only MIPS requires snan_bit_is_one to be variable. While we are specializing softfloat behaviour, allow other targets to eliminate this runtime check. 2018-02-21target/*/cpu.h: remove softfloat.hAlex Bennée
As cpu.h is another typically widely included file which doesn't need full access to the softfloat API we can remove the includes from here as well. Where they do need types it's typically for float_status and the rounding modes so we move that to softfloat-types.h as well. As a result of not having softfloat in every cpu.h call we now need to add it to various helpers that do need the full softfloat.h definitions. 2017-03-06target/ppc: fmadd check for excp independentlyNikunj A Dadhania
Current order of checking does not confirm with the spec (ISA 3.0: MultiplyAddDP page-469). Change the order and make them independent of each other. For example: a = infinity, b = zero, c = SNaN, this should set both VXIMZ and VXNAN Signed-off-by: Nikunj A Dadhania <nikunj@linux.vnet.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: David Gibson <david@gibson.dropbear.id.au>

2017-01-31target-ppc: Rename helper_compute_fprf to helper_compute_fprf_float64Bharata B Rao
Since helper_compute_fprf() works on float64 argument, rename it to helper_compute_fprf_float64(). Also use a macro to generate helper_compute_fprf_float64() so that float128 version of the same helper can be introduced easily later. 2017-01-31target-ppc: Fix xscmpodp and xscmpudp instructionsBharata B Rao
- xscmpodp & xscmpudp are missing flags reset. - In xscmpodp, VXCC should be set only if VE is 0 for signalling NaN case and VXCC should be set by explicitly checking for quiet NaN case. - Comparison is being done only if the operands are not NaNs. However as per ISA, it should be done even when operands are NaNs. 2016-12-20Move target-* CPU file into a target/ folderThomas Huth
We've currently got 18 architectures in QEMU, and thus 18 target-xxx folders in the root folder of the QEMU source tree. More architectures (e.g. RISC-V, AVR) are likely to be included soon, too, so the main folder of the QEMU sources slowly gets quite overcrowded with the target-xxx folders. To disburden the main folder a little bit, let's move the target-xxx folders into a dedicated target/ folder, so that target-xxx/ simply becomes target/xxx/ instead.
