2023-08-03target/m68k: Fix semihost lseek offset computationPeter Maydell
The arguments for deposit64 are (value, start, length, fieldval); this appears to have thought they were (value, fieldval, start, length). Reorder the parameters to match the actual function. 2022-09-13target/m68k: Convert semihosting errno to gdb remote errnoRichard Henderson
The semihosting abi used by m68k uses the gdb remote protocol filesys errnos. Acked-by: Laurent Vivier <laurent@vivier.eu> Signed-off-by: Richard Henderson <richard.henderson@linaro.org>
2022-09-13target/m68k: Use semihosting/syscalls.hRichard Henderson

2022-06-28target/m68k: Make semihosting system onlyRichard Henderson

2022-06-28target/m68k: Eliminate m68k_semi_is_fseekRichard Henderson
Reorg m68k_semi_return_* to gdb_syscall_complete_cb. Use the 32-bit version normally, and the 64-bit version for HOSTED_LSEEK. Reviewed-by: Laurent Vivier <laurent@vivier.eu> Signed-off-by: Richard Henderson <richard.henderson@linaro.org>
2022-06-28gdbstub: Adjust gdb_syscall_complete_cb declarationRichard Henderson
Change 'ret' to uint64_t. This resolves a FIXME in the m68k and nios2 semihosting that we've lost data. Change 'err' to int. There is nothing target-specific about the width of the errno value. 2022-04-06Replace qemu_gettimeofday() with g_get_real_time()Marc-André Lureau
GLib g_get_real_time() is an alternative to gettimeofday() which allows to simplify our code. For semihosting, a few bits are lost on POSIX host, but this shouldn't be a big concern. 2021-09-13linux-user: Don't include gdbstub.h in qemu.hPeter Maydell
Currently the linux-user qemu.h pulls in gdbstub.h. There's no real reason why it should do this; include it directly from the C files which require it, and drop the include line in qemu.h. (Note that several of the C files previously relying on this indirect include were going out of their way to only include gdbstub.h conditionally on not CONFIG_USER_ONLY!) 2019-08-16Clean up inclusion of sysemu/sysemu.hMarkus Armbruster
In my "build everything" tree, changing sysemu/sysemu.h triggers a recompile of some 5400 out of 6600 objects (not counting tests and objects that don't depend on qemu/osdep.h). Almost a third of its inclusions are actually superfluous. Delete them. Downgrade two more to qapi/qapi-types-run-state.h, and move one from char/serial.h to char/serial.c. hw/semihosting/config.c, monitor/monitor.c, qdev-monitor.c, and stubs/semihost.c define variables declared in sysemu/sysemu.h without including it. The compiler is cool with that, but include it anyway. This doesn't reduce actual use much, as it's still included into widely included headers. The next commit will tackle that. 2016-12-20Move target-* CPU file into a target/ folderThomas Huth
We've currently got 18 architectures in QEMU, and thus 18 target-xxx folders in the root folder of the QEMU source tree. More architectures (e.g. RISC-V, AVR) are likely to be included soon, too, so the main folder of the QEMU sources slowly gets quite overcrowded with the target-xxx folders. To disburden the main folder a little bit, let's move the target-xxx folders into a dedicated target/ folder, so that target-xxx/ simply becomes target/xxx/ instead.
