2018-03-02target/arm: Define init-svtor property for the reset secure VTOR valuePeter Maydell
The Cortex-M33 allows the system to specify the reset value of the secure Vector Table Offset Register (VTOR) by asserting config signals. In particular, guest images for the MPS2 AN505 board rely on the MPS2's initial VTOR being correct for that board. Implement a QEMU property so board and SoC code can set the reset value to the correct value. 2018-03-02target/arm: Define an IDAU interfacePeter Maydell
In v8M, the Implementation Defined Attribution Unit (IDAU) is a small piece of hardware typically implemented in the SoC which provides board or SoC specific security attribution information for each address that the CPU performs MPU/SAU checks on. For QEMU, we model this with a QOM interface which is implemented by the board or SoC object and connected to the CPU using a link property. This commit defines the new interface class, adds the link property to the CPU object, and makes the SAU checking code call the IDAU interface if one is present. 2018-02-22target/arm: Fix register definitions for VMIDR and VMPIDRPeter Maydell
The register definitions for VMIDR and VMPIDR have separate reginfo structs for the AArch32 and AArch64 registers. However the 32-bit versions are wrong: * they use offsetof instead of offsetoflow32 to mark where the 32-bit value lives in the uint64_t CPU state field * they don't mark themselves as ARM_CP_ALIAS In particular this means that if you try to use an Arm guest CPU which enables EL2 on a big-endian host it will assert at reset: target/arm/cpu.c:114: cp_reg_check_reset: Assertion `oldvalue == newvalue' failed. because the reset of the 32-bit register writes to the top half of the uint64_t. 2018-02-21target/*/cpu.h: remove softfloat.hAlex Bennée
As cpu.h is another typically widely included file which doesn't need full access to the softfloat API we can remove the includes from here as well. Where they do need types it's typically for float_status and the rounding modes so we move that to softfloat-types.h as well. As a result of not having softfloat in every cpu.h call we now need to add it to various helpers that do need the full softfloat.h definitions.
