2016-12-20Move target-* CPU file into a target/ folderThomas Huth
We've currently got 18 architectures in QEMU, and thus 18 target-xxx folders in the root folder of the QEMU source tree. More architectures (e.g. RISC-V, AVR) are likely to be included soon, too, so the main folder of the QEMU sources slowly gets quite overcrowded with the target-xxx folders. To disburden the main folder a little bit, let's move the target-xxx folders into a dedicated target/ folder, so that target-xxx/ simply becomes target/xxx/ instead. 2016-10-31target-sparc: Introduce cpu_raise_exception_raRichard Henderson
Several helpers call helper_raise_exception directly, which requires in turn that their callers have performed save_state. The new function allows a TCG return address to be passed in so that we can restore PC + NPC + flags data from that. This fixes a bug in the usage of helper_check_align, whose callers had not been calling save_state. It fixes another bug in which the divide helpers used GETPC at a level other than the direct callee from TCG. This allows the translator to avoid save_state prior to SAVE, RESTORE, and FLUSHW instructions. Instead of using the _raw family of ld/st accessor functions, use cpu_*_data. All this code is CONFIG_USER_ONLY, so the two are the same semantically, but the _raw functions are really a detail of the implementation which has leaked into a few callsites like this one. 2014-03-12target-sparc: Add and use CPU_FEATURE_CASASebastian Huber
The LEON3 processor has support for the CASA instruction which is normally only available for SPARC V9 processors. Binutils 2.24 and GCC 4.9 will support this instruction for LEON3. GCC uses it to generate C11 atomic operations. The CAS synthetic instruction uses an ASI of 0x80. If TARGET_SPARC64 is not defined use a supervisor data load/store for an ASI of 0x80 in helper_ld_asi()/helper_st_asi(). The supervisor data load/store was choosen according to the LEON3 documentation. The ASI 0x80 is defined in the SPARC V9 manual, Table 12—Address Space Identifiers (ASIs). Here we have: 0x80, ASI_PRIMARY, Unrestricted access, Primary address space.
