2015-01-20exec.c: Drop TARGET_HAS_ICE define and checksPeter Maydell
The TARGET_HAS_ICE #define is intended to indicate whether a target-* guest CPU implementation supports the breakpoint handling. However, all our guest CPUs have that support (the only two which do not define TARGET_HAS_ICE are unicore32 and openrisc, and in both those cases the bp support is present and the lack of the #define is just a bug). So remove the #define entirely: all new guest CPU support should include breakpoint handling as part of the basic implementation. 2013-07-09linux-user: Move cpu_clone_regs() and cpu_set_tls() into linux-userPeter Maydell
The functions cpu_clone_regs() and cpu_set_tls() are not purely CPU related -- they are specific to the TLS ABI for a a particular OS. Move them into the linux-user/ tree where they belong. target-lm32 had entirely unused implementations, since it has no linux-user target; just drop them. handle_cpu_signal is very nearly copy-paste code for each target, with a few minor variations. This patch sets up appropriate defaults for a generic handle_cpu_signal and provides overrides for particular targets that did things differently. Fixing things like the persistent (XXX: use sigsetjmp) should now become somewhat easier. Previous comments on this patch suggest that the "activate soft MMU for this block" comments refer to defunct functionality. I have removed such blocks for the appropriate targets in this patch. This patch refactors the way the CPU state is handled that is associated with a TB. The basic motivation is to move more arch specific code out of generic files. Specifically the long #ifdef clutter in tb_find_fast() has to be overcome in order to avoid duplicating it for the gdb watchpoint fixes (patch "Restore pc on watchpoint hits").
