2016-01-29alpha: Clean up includesPeter Maydell
Clean up includes so that osdep.h is included first and headers which it implies are not included manually. This commit was created with scripts/clean-includes. Signed-off-by: Peter Maydell <peter.maydell@linaro.org> Message-id: 1453832250-766-12-git-send-email-peter.maydell@linaro.org

This should help clarify the purpose of the function that returns the host system's CPU cycle count. 2015-08-18target-alpha: Use separate TCGv temporaries for the shadow registersRichard Henderson
This avoids having to manually swap them around when swapping to and from PALmode. We simply encode the shadow registers into the translation. The VMStateDescription version changes, because the meaning of "shadow" changes in the save file when in PALmode. It would be possible to fix this, but I don't think it's worth the effort. 2015-07-09translate-all: Change tb_flush() env argument to cpuPeter Crosthwaite
All of the core-code usages of this API have the cpu pointer handy so pass it in. There are only 3 architecture specific usages (2 of which are commented out) which can just use ENV_GET_CPU() locally to get the cpu pointer. The reduces core code usage of the CPU env, which brings us closer to common-obj'ing these core files. 2014-05-28tcg: Invert the inclusion of helper.hRichard Henderson
Rather than include helper.h with N values of GEN_HELPER, include a secondary file that sets up the macros to include helper.h. This minimizes the files that must be rebuilt when changing the macros for file N. Reviewed-by: Alex Bennée <alex.bennee@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Richard Henderson <rth@twiddle.net>

2013-08-22aio / timers: Switch entire codebase to the new timer APIAlex Bligh
This is an autogenerated patch using scripts/switch-timer-api. Switch the entire code base to using the new timer API. Note this patch may introduce some line length issues. Signed-off-by: Alex Bligh <alex@alex.org.uk> Signed-off-by: Stefan Hajnoczi <stefanha@redhat.com>

2013-08-16target-alpha: Use goto_tb in call_palRichard Henderson
With appropriate flushing when the PALBR changes, the target of a CALL_PAL is so predictable we can chain to it. Signed-off-by: Richard Henderson <rth@twiddle.net>
2013-08-16target-alpha: Implement call_pal without an exceptionRichard Henderson
The destination of the call_pal, and the cpu state, is very predictable; there's no need for exiting the cpu loop. Signed-off-by: Richard Henderson <rth@twiddle.net>
2013-07-18target-alpha: Move alarm to vm_clockRichard Henderson
Basing the alarm off the rtc_clock was silly. It leads to horrible spinning in the guest after being suspended and resumed, as it tries to catch up with lost ticks. This requires adding an accessor for reading the vm_clock too. Signed-off-by: Richard Henderson <rth@twiddle.net>

2012-12-19target-alpha: Avoid leaking the alarm timer over resetAndreas Färber
Move the timer from CPUAlphaState to AlphaCPU to avoid the pointer being zero'ed once we implement reset. Would cause a segfault in sys_helper.c:helper_set_alarm(). This also simplifies timer initialization in Typhoon. Signed-off-by: Andreas Färber <afaerber@suse.de> Acked-by: Richard Henderson <rth@twiddle.net>
