2021-09-04hw/pci: remove all references to find_i440fx functionAni Sinha
commit c0e427d6eb5fefc538 ("hw/acpi/ich9: Enable ACPI PCI hot-plug") removed all uses of find_i440fx() function. This has been replaced by the more generic call acpi_get_i386_pci_host() which maybe able to find the root bus both for i440fx machine type as well as for the q35 machine type. There seems to be no more any need to maintain a i440fx specific version of the api call. Remove it. Tested by building from a clean tree successfully. 2019-11-05hw/pci-host/piix: Move i440FX declarations to hw/pci-host/i440fx.hPhilippe Mathieu-Daudé
The hw/pci-host/piix.c contains a mix of PIIX3 and i440FX chipsets functions. To be able to split it, we need to export some declarations first. Reviewed-by: Aleksandar Markovic <amarkovic@wavecomp.com> Signed-off-by: Philippe Mathieu-Daudé <philmd@redhat.com>
2017-09-08hw/acpi: Move acpi_set_pci_info to pcihpAnthony PERARD
HW part of ACPI PCI hotplug in QEMU depends on ACPI_PCIHP_PROP_BSEL being set on a PCI bus that supports ACPI hotplug. It should work regardless of the source of ACPI tables (QEMU generator/legacy SeaBIOS/Xen). So move ACPI_PCIHP_PROP_BSEL initialization into HW ACPI implementation part from QEMU's ACPI table generator. To do PCI passthrough with Xen, the property ACPI_PCIHP_PROP_BSEL needs to be set, but this was done only when ACPI tables are built which is not needed for a Xen guest. The need for the property starts with commit "pc: pcihp: avoid adding ACPI_PCIHP_PROP_BSEL twice" (f0c9d64a68b776374ec4732424a3e27753ce37b6). Adding find_i440fx into stubs so that mips-softmmu target can be built.
