2022-01-18linux-user: Rename user_force_sig tracepoint to match function namePeter Maydell
In commit c599d4d6d6e9bfdb64 in 2016 we renamed the old force_sig() function to dump_core_and_abort(), but we forgot to rename the associated tracepoint. Rename the tracepoint to to match the function it's called from. 2021-06-02docs: fix references to docs/devel/tracing.rstStefano Garzarella
Commit e50caf4a5c ("tracing: convert documentation to rST") converted docs/devel/tracing.txt to docs/devel/tracing.rst. We still have several references to the old file, so let's fix them with the following command: sed -i s/tracing.txt/tracing.rst/ $(git grep -l docs/devel/tracing.txt) Signed-off-by: Stefano Garzarella <sgarzare@redhat.com> Reviewed-by: Philippe Mathieu-Daudé <philmd@redhat.com> Message-Id: <20210517151702.109066-2-sgarzare@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Thomas Huth <thuth@redhat.com>
2020-02-12linux-user: fix use of SIGRTMINLaurent Vivier
Some RT signals can be in use by glibc, it's why SIGRTMIN (34) is generally greater than __SIGRTMIN (32). So SIGRTMIN cannot be mapped to TARGET_SIGRTMIN. Instead of swapping only SIGRTMIN and SIGRTMAX, map all the range [TARGET_SIGRTMIN ... TARGET_SIGRTMAX - X] to [__SIGRTMIN + X ... SIGRTMAX ] (SIGRTMIN is __SIGRTMIN + X). 2019-03-22trace-events: Fix attribution of trace points to sourceMarkus Armbruster
Some trace points are attributed to the wrong source file. Happens when we neglect to update trace-events for code motion, or add events in the wrong place, or misspell the file name. Clean up with help of cleanup-trace-events.pl. Same funnies as in the previous commit, of course. Manually shorten its change to linux-user/trace-events to */signal.c. 2019-03-22trace-events: Shorten file names in commentsMarkus Armbruster
We spell out sub/dir/ in sub/dir/trace-events' comments pointing to source files. That's because when trace-events got split up, the comments were moved verbatim. Delete the sub/dir/ part from these comments. Gets rid of several misspellings.
