Create the AON device when we realize the sifive_e machine. This patch only implemented the functionality of the watchdog timer, not all the functionality of the AON device. 2023-01-06hw/intc: sifive_plic: Change "priority-base" to start from interrupt source 0Bin Meng
At present the SiFive PLIC model "priority-base" expects interrupt priority register base starting from source 1 instead source 0, that's why on most platforms "priority-base" is set to 0x04 except 'opentitan' machine. 'opentitan' should have set "priority-base" to 0x04 too. Note the irq number calculation in sifive_plic_{read,write} is correct as the codes make up for the irq number by adding 1. Let's simply update "priority-base" to start from interrupt source 0 and add a comment to make it crystal clear. Per chapter 10 in Freedom E310 manuals [1][2][3], E310 G002 and G003 supports 52 interrupt sources while G000 supports 51 interrupt sources. We use the value of G002 and G003, so it is 53 (including source 0). 2022-09-27hw/riscv/sifive_e: Fix inheritance of SiFiveEStateBernhard Beschow
SiFiveEState inherits from SysBusDevice while it's TypeInfo claims it to inherit from TYPE_MACHINE. This is an inconsistency which can cause undefined behavior such as memory corruption. Change SiFiveEState to inherit from MachineState since it is registered as a machine. 2020-09-18sifive_e: Rename memmap enum constantsEduardo Habkost
Some of the enum constant names conflict with a QOM type check macro (SIFIVE_E_PRCI). This needs to be addressed to allow us to transform the QOM type check macros into functions generated by OBJECT_DECLARE_TYPE(). Rename all the constants to SIFIVE_E_DEV_*, to avoid conflicts. 2020-09-09hw/riscv: Move sifive_gpio model to hw/gpioBin Meng
This is an effort to clean up the hw/riscv directory. Ideally it should only contain the RISC-V SoC / machine codes plus generic codes. Let's move sifive_gpio model to hw/gpio directory. Note this also removes the trace-events in the hw/riscv directory, since gpio is the only supported trace target in that directory. Back in 2016, we discussed[1] rules for headers, and these were generally liked: 1. Have a carefully curated header that's included everywhere first. We got that already thanks to Peter: osdep.h. 2. Headers should normally include everything they need beyond osdep.h. If exceptions are needed for some reason, they must be documented in the header. If all that's needed from a header is typedefs, put those into qemu/typedefs.h instead of including the header. 3. Cyclic inclusion is forbidden. This patch gets include/ closer to obeying 2. It's actually extracted from my "[RFC] Baby steps towards saner headers" series[2], which demonstrates a possible path towards checking 2 automatically. It passes the RFC test there. 2019-06-23RISC-V: Fix a memory leak when realizing a sifive_ePalmer Dabbelt
Coverity pointed out a memory leak in riscv_sifive_e_soc_realize(), where a pair of recently added MemoryRegion instances would not be freed if there were errors elsewhere in the function. The fix here is to simply not use dynamic allocation for these instances: there's always one of each in SiFiveESoCState, so instead we just include them within the struct. 2019-04-04riscv: plic: Fix incorrect irq calculationAlistair Francis
This patch fixes four different things, to maintain bisectability they have been merged into a single patch. The following fixes are below: sifive_plic: Fix incorrect irq calculation The irq is incorrectly calculated to be off by one. It has worked in the past as the priority_base offset has also been set incorrectly. We are about to fix the priority_base offset so first first the irq calculation. sifive_u: Fix PLIC priority base offset and numbering According to the FU540 manual the PLIC source priority address starts at an offset of 0x04 and not 0x00. The same manual also specifies that the PLIC only has 53 source priorities. Fix these two incorrect header files. We also need to over extend the plic_gpios[] array as the PLIC sources count from 1 and not 0. riscv: sifive_e: Fix PLIC priority base offset According to the FE31 manual the PLIC source priority address starts at an offset of 0x04 and not 0x00. riscv: virt: Fix PLIC priority base offset Update the virt offsets based on the newly updated SiFive U and SiFive E offsets. Removes a whole lot of unnecessary boilerplate code. Machines don't need to be objects. The expansion of the SOC object model for the RISC-V machines will happen in the future as SiFive plans to add their FE310 and FU540 SOCs to QEMU. However, it seems that this present boilerplate is complete unnecessary.
