2023-02-27hw: Replace qemu_or_irq typedef by OrIRQStatePhilippe Mathieu-Daudé
OBJECT_DECLARE_SIMPLE_TYPE() macro provides the OrIRQState declaration for free. Besides, the QOM code style is to use the structure name as typedef, and QEMU style is to use Camel Case, so rename qemu_or_irq as OrIRQState. 2022-07-18Align Raspberry Pi DMA interrupts with Linux DTSAndrey Makarov
There is nothing in the specs on DMA engine interrupt lines: it should have been in the "BCM2835 ARM Peripherals" datasheet but the appropriate "ARM peripherals interrupt table" (p.113) is nearly empty. All Raspberry Pi models 1-3 (based on bcm2835) have Linux device tree (arch/arm/boot/dts/bcm2835-common.dtsi +25): /* dma channel 11-14 share one irq */ This information is repeated in the driver code (drivers/dma/bcm2835-dma.c +1344): /* * in case of channel >= 11 * use the 11th interrupt and that is shared */ In this patch channels 0--10 and 11--14 are handled separately. 2021-07-02hw/arm: Add basic power management to raspi.Nolan Leake
This is just enough to make reboot and poweroff work. Works for linux, u-boot, and the arm trusted firmware. Not tested, but should work for plan9, and bare-metal/hobby OSes, since they seem to generally do what linux does for reset. The watchdog timer functionality is not yet implemented. 2020-10-27hw/arm/raspi: add a skeleton implementation of the CPRMANLuc Michel
The BCM2835 CPRMAN is the clock manager of the SoC. It is composed of a main oscillator, and several sub-components (PLLs, multiplexers, ...) to generate the BCM2835 clock tree. This commit adds a skeleton of the CPRMAN, with a dummy register read/write implementation. It embeds the main oscillator (xosc) from which all the clocks will be derived. The CPRMAN (clock controller) was mapped at the watchdog/power manager address. 2017-02-28bcm2835: add sdhost and gpio controllersClement Deschamps
This adds the bcm2835_sdhost and bcm2835_gpio to the BCM2835 platform. For supporting the SD controller selection (alternate function of GPIOs 48-53), the bcm2835_gpio now exposes an sdbus. It also has a link to both the sdbus of sdhci and sdhost controllers, and the card is reparented from one bus to another when the alternate function of GPIOs 48-53 is modified. 2017-02-28target-arm: Implement BCM2835 hardware RNGMarcin Chojnacki
Recent vanilla Raspberry Pi kernels started to make use of the hardware random number generator in BCM2835 SoC. As a result, those kernels wouldn't work anymore under QEMU but rather just freeze during the boot process. This patch implements a trivial BCM2835 compatible RNG, and adds it as a peripheral to BCM2835 platform, which allows to boot a vanilla Raspberry Pi kernel under Qemu.
