2019-01-11qemu/queue.h: leave head structs anonymous unless necessaryPaolo Bonzini
Most list head structs need not be given a name. In most cases the name is given just in case one is going to use QTAILQ_LAST, QTAILQ_PREV or reverse iteration, but this does not apply to lists of other kinds, and even for QTAILQ in practice this is only rarely needed. In addition, we will soon reimplement those macros completely so that they do not need a name for the head struct. So clean up everything, not giving a name except in the rare case where it is necessary. Signed-off-by: Paolo Bonzini <pbonzini@redhat.com>
2019-01-07hw/usb: fix mistaken de-initialization of CCID stateDaniel P. Berrangé
In previous commit: commit 7dea29e4af17fc1d27478de9f8ea38144deac54a Author: Li Qiang <liq3ea@gmail.com> Date: Fri Oct 19 03:50:36 2018 -0700 hw: ccid-card-emulated: cleanup resource when realize in error path The emulated_realize method was changed so that it jumps to a cleanup label to de-initialize state upon error. This change failed to ensure the success path exited the method before this point though. So the mutexes are always destroyed even in normal operation. The result is as crashtastic as expected: $ qemu-system-x86_64 -usb -device usb-ccid,id=ccid0 -device ccid-card-emulated,backend=nss-emulated,id=smartcard0,bus=ccid0.0 qemu-system-x86_64: util/qemu-thread-posix.c:64: qemu_mutex_lock_impl: Assertion `mutex->initialized' failed. 2018-04-27ccid-card: include libcacard.h onlyMichal Privoznik
When trying to build with latest libcacard-2.5.1, I hit the following error: In file included from hw/usb/ccid-card-passthru.c:12:0: /usr/include/cacard/vscard_common.h:26:2: error: #warning "Only <libcacard.h> can be included directly" [-Werror=cpp] #warning "Only <libcacard.h> can be included directly" While it was fixed in libcacard upstream (so that individual files can be included directly), it doesn't make much sense. Let's switch to including the main libcacard.h and also require at least libcacard-2.5.1 which introduced it. It's available since late 2015. 2017-01-16event_notifier: cleanups around event_notifier_set_handlerPaolo Bonzini
Remove the useless is_external argument. Since the iohandler AioContext is never used for block devices, aio_disable_external is never called on it. This lets us remove stubs/iohandler.c. Signed-off-by: Paolo Bonzini <pbonzini@redhat.com>
2016-10-28usb: Change *_exitfn return type from int to voidAkanksha Srivastava
The *_exitfn functions cannot fail and should not be returning int. This also removes the passthru_exitfn since this callback does nothing as of now. This was suggested as a Bite-sized task for code cleanup. 2015-11-06usb: Use g_new() & friends where that makes obvious senseMarkus Armbruster
g_new(T, n) is neater than g_malloc(sizeof(T) * n). It's also safer, for two reasons. One, it catches multiplication overflowing size_t. Two, it returns T * rather than void *, which lets the compiler catch more type errors. This commit only touches allocations with size arguments of the form sizeof(T).
