2020-09-30vhost-scsi: support inflight io trackLi Feng
Qemu will send GET_INFLIGHT_FD and SET_INFLIGH_FD to backend, and the backend setup the inflight memory to track the io. 2018-08-23vhost-scsi: unify vhost-scsi get_features implementationsGreg Edwards
Move the enablement of preset host features into the common vhost_scsi_common_get_features() function. This is in preparation for having vhost-scsi also make use of host_features. 2018-06-01vhost-scsi: drop an unused includeMichael S. Tsirkin

2018-02-09Include qapi/error.h exactly where neededMarkus Armbruster
This cleanup makes the number of objects depending on qapi/error.h drop from 1910 (out of 4743) to 1612 in my "build everything" tree. While there, separate #include from file comment with a blank line, and drop a useless comment on why qemu/osdep.h is included first. 2017-06-15vhost-user-scsi: Introduce vhost-user-scsi host deviceFelipe Franciosi
This commit introduces a vhost-user device for SCSI. This is based on the existing vhost-scsi implementation, but done over vhost-user instead. It also uses a chardev to connect to the backend. Unlike vhost-scsi (today), VMs using vhost-user-scsi can be live migrated. To use it, start Qemu with a command line equivalent to: qemu-system-x86_64 \ -chardev socket,id=vus0,path=/tmp/vus.sock \ -device vhost-user-scsi-pci,chardev=vus0,bus=pci.0,addr=... A separate commit presents a sample application linked with libiscsi to provide a backend for vhost-user-scsi. 2017-05-05vhost-scsi: create a vhost-scsi-common abstractionFelipe Franciosi
In order to introduce a new vhost-user-scsi host device type, it makes sense to abstract part of vhost-scsi into a common parent class. This commit does exactly that. Signed-off-by: Felipe Franciosi <felipe@nutanix.com> Message-Id: <1488479153-21203-3-git-send-email-felipe@nutanix.com>
