2020-09-09hw/riscv: Move sifive_clint model to hw/intcBin Meng
This is an effort to clean up the hw/riscv directory. Ideally it should only contain the RISC-V SoC / machine codes plus generic codes. Let's move sifive_clint model to hw/intc directory. 2020-09-09hw/riscv: clint: Avoid using hard-coded timebase frequencyBin Meng
At present the CLINT timestamp is using a hard-coded timebase frequency value SIFIVE_CLINT_TIMEBASE_FREQ. This might not be true for all boards. Add a new 'timebase-freq' property to the CLINT device, and update various functions to accept this as a parameter. 2020-08-25hw/riscv: Allow creating multiple instances of CLINTAnup Patel
We extend CLINT emulation to allow multiple instances of CLINT in a QEMU RISC-V machine. To achieve this, we remove first HART id zero assumption from CLINT emulation. 2020-07-02hw/riscv: Allow 64 bit access to SiFive CLINTAlistair Francis
Commit 5d971f9e672507210e77d020d89e0e89165c8fc9 "memory: Revert "memory: accept mismatching sizes in memory_region_access_valid"" broke most RISC-V boards as they do 64 bit accesses to the CLINT and QEMU would trigger a fault. Fix this failure by allowing 8 byte accesses. 2019-08-16Include hw/qdev-properties.h lessMarkus Armbruster
In my "build everything" tree, changing hw/qdev-properties.h triggers a recompile of some 2700 out of 6600 objects (not counting tests and objects that don't depend on qemu/osdep.h). Many places including hw/qdev-properties.h (directly or via hw/qdev.h) actually need only hw/qdev-core.h. Include hw/qdev-core.h there instead. hw/qdev.h is actually pointless: all it does is include hw/qdev-core.h and hw/qdev-properties.h, which in turn includes hw/qdev-core.h. Replace the remaining uses of hw/qdev.h by hw/qdev-properties.h. While there, delete a few superfluous inclusions of hw/qdev-core.h. Touching hw/qdev-properties.h now recompiles some 1200 objects. 2018-12-20RISC-V: Fix CLINT timecmp low 32-bit writesMichael Clark
A missing shift made updates to the low order bits of timecmp erroneously copy the old low order bits into the high order bits of the 64-bit timecmp register. Add the missing shift and rename timecmp local variables to timecmp_hi and timecmp_lo. This bug didn't show up as the low order bits are usually written first followed by the high order bits meaning the high order bits contained an invalid value between the timecmp_lo and timecmp_hi update.
