2012-01-21PPC: Bamboo: fold ppc440.c and ppc440_bamboo.c into a single fileAlexander Graf
The separation of ppc440 and ppc440_bamboo makes some sense, since ppc440 is the SoC while ppc440_bamboo is the actual board. But the separation makes things harder for us for no good reason, so let's just fold them in together with each other. Signed-off-by: Alexander Graf <agraf@suse.de>
2012-01-21PPC: 440: Default to 440EP CPUAlexander Graf
Today we're exposing a Virtex 440 CPU to the guest despite the fact that we're telling the guest that we're running on a 440EP one in the device tree. So let's better default to a real 440EP to make things synced again. Signed-off-by: Alexander Graf <agraf@suse.de>
2012-01-21PPC: 440EP: Initialize timerAlexander Graf
When using TCG with a BookE PowerPC core, we need to explicitly initialize the BookE timers with the correct frequencies. This was missing for 440EP, since that code came from KVM and was never used with TCG. Signed-off-by: Alexander Graf <agraf@suse.de>

2011-10-02serial: Add MemoryRegion parameter to serial_mm_initRichard Henderson
Remove the get_system_memory() call from serial_mm_init, pushing it back into the callers. In many cases we already have the system memory region available. Signed-off-by: Richard Henderson <rth@twiddle.net> Signed-off-by: Avi Kivity <avi@redhat.com>
2011-10-02serial: Remove ioregister parameter from serial_mm_initRichard Henderson
All callers passed 1. Signed-off-by: Richard Henderson <rth@twiddle.net> Signed-off-by: Avi Kivity <avi@redhat.com>
2011-10-02serial: Use enum device_endian in serial_mm_init parameterRichard Henderson
The use of DEVICE_NATIVE_ENDIAN cleans up lots of ifdefs in many of the callers. Signed-off-by: Richard Henderson <rth@twiddle.net> Signed-off-by: Avi Kivity <avi@redhat.com>

2011-06-17PPC: 440: Use 440 style MMU as default, so Qemu knows the MMU typeAlexander Graf
We have some KVM interaction code in Qemu that tries to be clever and ignore some capabilities when running on BookE style MMUs. Unfortunately, the default CPU bamboo was defaulting to was not a BookE-style MMU, resulting in the check to fail. With this patch, guests can run again on 440 with -enable-kvm. 2010-12-11isa_mmio: Always use little endianAlexander Graf
This patch converts the ISA MMIO bridge code to always use little endian mmio. All bswap code that existed was only there to convert from native cpu endianness to little endian ISA devices. Signed-off-by: Alexander Graf <agraf@suse.de> Signed-off-by: Blue Swirl <blauwirbel@gmail.com>

2009-10-01Revert "Get rid of _t suffix"Anthony Liguori
In the very least, a change like this requires discussion on the list. The naming convention is goofy and it causes a massive merge problem. Something like this _must_ be presented on the list first so people can provide input and cope with it. This reverts commit 99a0949b720a0936da2052cb9a46db04ffc6db29. 2008-12-16target-ppc: PowerPC 440EP SoC emulationaurel32
Wire up the system-on-chip devices present on 440EP chips. This patch is a little unusual in that qemu doesn't actually emulate the 440 core, but we use this board code with KVM (which does). If/when 440 core emulation is supported, the kvm_enabled() hack can be removed.
