2013-03-08pci_host: Drop write-only address_space fieldPeter Maydell
The address_space field of PCIHostState was only ever written, never used. Drop it completely. Signed-off-by: Peter Maydell <peter.maydell@linaro.org> Reviewed-by: Andreas Färber <afaerber@suse.de> Signed-off-by: Stefan Hajnoczi <stefanha@redhat.com>
2013-03-01hw: move qdev-monitor.o to toplevel directoryPaolo Bonzini
qdev-monitor.c is the only "core qdev" file that is not used in user-mode emulation, and it does not define anything that is used by hardware models. Remove it from the hw/ directory and remove hw/qdev-monitor.h from hw/qdev.h too; this requires some files to have some new explicitly includes. Signed-off-by: Paolo Bonzini <pbonzini@redhat.com>
2013-02-11error: Strip trailing '\n' from error string arguments (again)Markus Armbruster
Commit 6daf194d and be62a2eb got rid of a bunch, but they keep coming back. 2013-02-01pci: use qbus_create in pci_bus_newPaolo Bonzini
Remove knowledge of QOM innards. The common part of pci_bus_new and pci_bus_new_inplace is moved to a new function pci_bus_init. Acked-by: Andreas Färber <afaerber@suse.de> Signed-off-by: Paolo Bonzini <pbonzini@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Anthony Liguori <aliguori@us.ibm.com>
2013-01-26build: remove extra-obj-yPaolo Bonzini
extra-obj-y is somewhat complicated to understand. Replace it with a special CONFIG_ALL symbol that is defined only at toplevel. This limits the case of directories defining more than one *-obj-y target. Signed-off-by: Paolo Bonzini <pbonzini@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Blue Swirl <blauwirbel@gmail.com>
2013-01-14Add TEWS TPCI200 IndustryPack emulationAlberto Garcia
The TPCI200 is a PCI board that supports up to 4 IndustryPack modules. A new bus type called 'IndustryPack' has been created so any compatible module can be attached to this board. 2013-01-10Make all static TypeInfos constAndreas Färber
Since 39bffca2030950ef6efe57c2fac8327a45ae1015 (qdev: register all types natively through QEMU Object Model), TypeInfo as used in the common, non-iterative pattern is no longer amended with information and should therefore be const. Fix the documented QOM examples: sed -i 's/static TypeInfo/static const TypeInfo/g' include/qom/object.h Since frequently the wrong examples are being copied by contributors of new devices, fix all types in the tree: sed -i 's/^static TypeInfo/static const TypeInfo/g' */*.c sed -i 's/^static TypeInfo/static const TypeInfo/g' */*/*.c This also avoids to piggy-back these changes onto real functional changes or other refactorings. Move public headers to include/net, and leave private headers in net/. Put the virtio headers in include/net/tap.h, removing the multiple copies that existed. Leave include/net/tap.h as the interface for NICs, and net/tap_int.h as the interface for OS-specific parts of the tap backend. Signed-off-by: Paolo Bonzini <pbonzini@redhat.com>

2012-12-17pci: rename pci_internals.h pci_bus.hMichael S. Tsirkin

2012-12-17Revert "pci: prepare makefiles for pci code reorganization"Michael S. Tsirkin
This reverts commit 475d67c3bcd6ba9fef917b6e59d96ae69eb1a9b4. Now that all users have been updated, we don't need the makefile hack or the softlink anymore. Signed-off-by: Michael S. Tsirkin <mst@redhat.com>
2012-12-17pci: fix path for local includesMichael S. Tsirkin
Include dependencies from pci core using the correct path. This is required now that it's in the separate directory. Need to check whether they can be minimized, for now, keep the code as is. Signed-off-by: Michael S. Tsirkin <mst@redhat.com>
2012-12-17pci: move pci core code to hw/pciMichael S. Tsirkin

2012-12-12pci: prepare makefiles for pci code reorganizationMichael S. Tsirkin
To make it easier to move code around without breaking build at intermedite steps, tweak makefiles to look in pci/ and hw/ for include files, automatically. This will be reverted at the end of the reorganization. Signed-off-by: Michael S. Tsirkin <mst@redhat.com>
