2023-07-07mv64361: Add dummy gigabit ethernet PHY access registersBALATON Zoltan
We don't emulate the gigabit ethernet part of the chip but the MorphOS driver accesses these and expects to get some valid looking result otherwise it hangs. Add some minimal dummy implementation to avoid rhis. 2023-03-08hw/ppc/pegasos2: Fix PCI interrupt routingBALATON Zoltan
According to the PegasosII schematics the PCI interrupt lines are connected to both the gpp pins of the Mv64361 north bridge and the PINT pins of the VT8231 south bridge so guests can get interrupts from either of these. So far we only had the MV64361 connections which worked for on board devices but for additional PCI devices (such as network or sound card added with -device) guest OSes expect interrupt from the ISA IRQ 9 where the firmware routes these PCI interrupts in VT8231 ISA bridge. After the previous patches we can now model this and also remove the board specific connection from mv64361. Also configure routing of these lines when using Virtual Open Firmware to match board firmware for guests that expect this. This fixes PCI interrupts on pegasos2 under Linux, MorphOS and AmigaOS. 2023-02-27Do not include hw/hw.h if it is not necessaryThomas Huth
hw.h only contains the protoype of one function nowadays, hw_error(), so all files that do not use this function anymore also do not need to include this header anymore. 2023-01-08include/hw/pci: Split pci_device.h off pci.hMarkus Armbruster
PCIDeviceClass and PCIDevice are defined in pci.h. Many users of the header don't actually need them. Similar structs live in their own headers: PCIBusClass and PCIBus in pci_bus.h, PCIBridge in pci_bridge.h, PCIHostBridgeClass and PCIHostState in pci_host.h, PCIExpressHost in pcie_host.h, and PCIERootPortClass, PCIEPort, and PCIESlot in pcie_port.h. Move PCIDeviceClass and PCIDeviceClass to new pci_device.h, along with the code that needs them. Adjust include directives. This also enables the next commit. 2021-10-21ppc/pegasos2: Access MV64361 registers via their memory regionBALATON Zoltan
Instead of relying on the mapped address of the MV64361 registers access them via their memory region. This is not a problem at reset time when these registers are mapped at the default address but the guest could change this later and then the RTAS calls accessing PCI config registers could fail. None of the guests actually do this so this only avoids a theoretical problem not seen in practice. 2021-07-13mv64361: Remove extra break from a switch caseBALATON Zoltan
The switch case of writing PCI 1 IO base address had an extra break statement that made part of the code unreachable. This did not cause a problem as guests ususally leave this register at its default value. 2021-05-04hw/pci-host: Add emulation of Marvell MV64361 PPC system controllerBALATON Zoltan
The Marvell Discovery II aka. MV64361 is a PowerPC system controller chip that is used on the pegasos2 PPC board. This adds emulation of it that models the device enough to boot guests on this board. The mv643xx.h header with register definitions is taken from Linux 4.15.10 only fixing white space errors, removing not needed parts and changing formatting for QEMU coding style.
