2019-08-16Include hw/hw.h exactly where neededMarkus Armbruster
In my "build everything" tree, changing hw/hw.h triggers a recompile of some 2600 out of 6600 objects (not counting tests and objects that don't depend on qemu/osdep.h). The previous commits have left only the declaration of hw_error() in hw/hw.h. This permits dropping most of its inclusions. Touching it now recompiles less than 200 objects. 2019-08-16Include hw/irq.h a lot lessMarkus Armbruster
In my "build everything" tree, changing hw/irq.h triggers a recompile of some 5400 out of 6600 objects (not counting tests and objects that don't depend on qemu/osdep.h). hw/hw.h supposedly includes it for convenience. Several other headers include it just to get qemu_irq and.or qemu_irq_handler. Move the qemu_irq and qemu_irq_handler typedefs from hw/irq.h to qemu/typedefs.h, and then include hw/irq.h only where it's still needed. Touching it now recompiles only some 500 objects. 2019-06-10target/mips: Use env_cpu, env_archcpuRichard Henderson
Cleanup in the boilerplate that each target must define. Replace mips_env_get_cpu with env_archcpu. The combination CPU(mips_env_get_cpu) should have used ENV_GET_CPU to begin; use env_cpu now. 2019-02-14hw/mips_int: hold BQL for all interrupt requestsAleksandar Markovic
Make sure BQL is held for all interrupt requests. For MTTCG-enabled configurations, handling soft and hard interrupts between vCPUs must be properly locked. By acquiring BQL, make sure all paths triggering an IRQ are synchronized. 2014-06-18hw/mips: In KVM mode, inject IRQ2 (I/O) interrupts via ioctlsSanjay Lal

2013-04-08hw: move headers to include/Paolo Bonzini
Many of these should be cleaned up with proper qdev-/QOM-ification. Right now there are many catch-all headers in include/hw/ARCH depending on cpu.h, and this makes it necessary to compile these files per-target. However, fixing this does not belong in these patches. 2013-03-12cpu: Pass CPUState to cpu_interrupt()Andreas Färber
Move it to qom/cpu.h to avoid issues with include order. Change pc_acpi_smi_interrupt() opaque to X86CPU. Signed-off-by: Andreas Färber <afaerber@suse.de>
2013-03-12exec: Pass CPUState to cpu_reset_interrupt()Andreas Färber
Move it to qom/cpu.c to avoid build failures depending on include order of cpu-qom.h and exec/cpu-all.h. Change opaques of various ..._irq_handler() functions to the appropriate CPU type to facilitate using cpu_reset_interrupt(). Fix Coding Style issues while at it (missing braces, indentation).
