2016-09-13virtio-gpu-pci: tag as not hotpluggableGerd Hoffmann
We can't hotplug display adapters in qemu, tag virtio-gpu-pci accordingly (virtio-vga already has this). Signed-off-by: Gerd Hoffmann <kraxel@redhat.com> Acked-by: Michael S. Tsirkin <mst@redhat.com> Message-id: 1473319037-27645-1-git-send-email-kraxel@redhat.com
2016-07-29hw/virtio-pci: fix virtio behaviourMarcel Apfelbaum
Enable transitional virtio devices by default. Enable virtio-1.0 for devices plugged into PCIe ports (Root ports or Downstream ports). Using the virtio-1 mode will remove the limitation of the number of devices that can be attached to a machine by removing the need for the IO BAR. 2016-01-29virtio: Clean up includesPeter Maydell
Clean up includes so that osdep.h is included first and headers which it implies are not included manually. This commit was created with scripts/clean-includes. Signed-off-by: Peter Maydell <peter.maydell@linaro.org> Message-id: 1453832250-766-15-git-send-email-peter.maydell@linaro.org

2015-07-07virtio-gpu: use virtio_instance_init_common, fixup propertiesGerd Hoffmann
Switch over to virtio_instance_init_common. Drop duplicate properties in virtio-gpu-pci and virtio-vga as they are properly aliased now. Also drop the indirection via DEFINE_VIRTIO_GPU_PROPERTIES, we don't need it any more as the properties are defined in a single place now. Signed-off-by: Gerd Hoffmann <kraxel@redhat.com>
2015-07-07virtio-gpu: update console device property.Gerd Hoffmann
Update the device link of the QemuConsole, so it points to the virtio-gpu-pci or virtio-vga device instead of virtio-gpu-device. This is needed because we want to find the device by id, for example for input routing, and the id specified on the command line is attached to the pci proxy, not the virtio device. 2015-06-12virtio-gpu-pci: add virtio pci supportGerd Hoffmann
This patch adds virtio-gpu-pci, which is the pci proxy for the virtio gpu device. With this patch in place virtio-gpu is functional. You need a linux guest with a virtio-gpu driver though, and output will appear pretty late in boot, once the kernel initialized drm and fbcon. Written by Dave Airlie and Gerd Hoffmann.
