2020-11-15nomaintainer: Fix Lesser GPL version numberChetan Pant
There is no "version 2" of the "Lesser" General Public License. It is either "GPL version 2.0" or "Lesser GPL version 2.1". This patch replaces all occurrences of "Lesser GPL version 2" with "Lesser GPL version 2.1" in comment section. This patch contains all the files, whose maintainer I could not get from ‘get_maintainer.pl’ script. Some typedefs and macros are defined after the type check macros. This makes it difficult to automatically replace their definitions with OBJECT_DECLARE_TYPE. Patch generated using: $ ./scripts/codeconverter/converter.py -i \ --pattern=QOMStructTypedefSplit $(git grep -l '' -- '*.[ch]') which will split "typdef struct { ... } TypedefName" declarations. Finally add audiodev= options to audio frontends so users can specify which backend to use when multiple backends exist. Not specifying an audiodev= option currently causes the first audiodev to be used, this is fixed in the next commit. In my "build everything" tree, changing hw/hw.h triggers a recompile of some 2600 out of 6600 objects (not counting tests and objects that don't depend on qemu/osdep.h). The previous commits have left only the declaration of hw_error() in hw/hw.h. This permits dropping most of its inclusions. Touching it now recompiles less than 200 objects. In my "build everything" tree, changing migration/vmstate.h triggers a recompile of some 2700 out of 6600 objects (not counting tests and objects that don't depend on qemu/osdep.h). hw/hw.h supposedly includes it for convenience. Several other headers include it just to get VMStateDescription. The previous commit made that unnecessary. Include migration/vmstate.h only where it's still needed. Touching it now recompiles only some 1600 objects. Several other headers include it just to get qemu_irq and.or qemu_irq_handler. Move the qemu_irq and qemu_irq_handler typedefs from hw/irq.h to qemu/typedefs.h, and then include hw/irq.h only where it's still needed. Touching it now recompiles only some 500 objects. 2019-03-11audio: use qapi AudioFormat instead of audfmt_eKővágó, Zoltán
I had to include an enum for audio sampling formats into qapi, but that meant duplicating the audfmt_e enum. This patch replaces audfmt_e and associated values with the qapi generated AudioFormat enum. This patch is mostly a search-and-replace, except for switches where the qapi generated AUDIO_FORMAT_MAX caused problems.
