We split the function into to: - state_pending_estimate: We estimate the remaining state size without stopping the machine. - state pending_exact: We calculate the exact amount of remaining state. 2023-02-02docs: add an introduction to the system docsAlex Bennée
Drop the frankly misleading quickstart section for a more rounded introduction section. This new section gives an overview of the accelerators as well as a high level introduction to some of the key features of the emulator. We also expand on a general form for a QEMU command line with a hopefully not too scary worked example of what this looks like. 2023-02-02semihosting: add semihosting section to the docsAlex Bennée
The main reason to do this is to document our O_BINARY implementation decision somewhere. However I've also moved some of the implementation details out of qemu-options and added links between the two. As a bonus I've highlighted the scary warnings about host access with the appropriate RST tags. This patch implements Allwinner TWI/I2C controller emulation. Only master-mode functionality is implemented. The SPL boot for Cubieboard expects AXP209 PMIC on TWI0/I2C0 bus, so this is first part enabling the TWI/I2C bus operation. Since both Allwinner A10 and H3 use the same module, it is added for both boards. Docs are also updated for Cubieboard and Orangepi-PC board to indicate I2C availability. 2022-12-15block-coroutine-wrapper.py: introduce co_wrapperEmanuele Giuseppe Esposito
This new annotation starts just a function wrapper that creates a new coroutine. It assumes the caller is not a coroutine. It will be the default annotation to be used in the future. This is much better as c_w_mixed, because it is clear if the caller is a coroutine or not, and provides the advantage of automating the code creation. In the future all c_w_mixed functions will be substituted by co_wrapper.
