2016-10-28spapr: update spapr hotplug documentationMichael Roth
This updates the existing documentation to reflect recent updates to the hotplug event structure, which are in draft form but slated for inclusion in PAPR/LoPAPR. 2015-09-23spapr: Support ibm,dynamic-reconfiguration-memoryBharata B Rao
Parse ibm, architecture.vec table obtained from the guest and enable memory node configuration via ibm,dynamic-reconfiguration-memory if guest supports it. This is in preparation to support memory hotplug for sPAPR guests. This changes the way memory node configuration is done. Currently all memory nodes are built upfront. But after this patch, only memory@0 node for RMA is built upfront. Guest kernel boots with just that and rest of the memory nodes (via memory@XXX or ibm,dynamic-reconfiguration-memory) are built when guest does ibm,client-architecture-support call. Note: This patch needs a SLOF enhancement which is already part of SLOF binary in QEMU. 2015-07-07spapr: Support ibm, lrdr-capacity device tree propertyBharata B Rao
Add support for ibm,lrdr-capacity since this is needed by the guest kernel to know about the possible hot-pluggable CPUs and Memory. With this, pseries kernels will start reporting correct maxcpus in /sys/devices/system/cpu/possible. Also define the minimum hotpluggable memory size as 256MB.
