2020-06-10hw/openrisc/openrisc_sim: Add assertion to silence GCC warningPhilippe Mathieu-Daudé
When compiling with GCC 10 (Fedora 32) using CFLAGS=-O2 we get: CC or1k-softmmu/hw/openrisc/openrisc_sim.o hw/openrisc/openrisc_sim.c: In function ‘openrisc_sim_init’: hw/openrisc/openrisc_sim.c:87:42: error: ‘cpu_irqs[0]’ may be used uninitialized in this function [-Werror=maybe-uninitialized] 87 | sysbus_connect_irq(s, i, cpu_irqs[i][irq_pin]); | ~~~~~~~~^~~ While humans can tell smp_cpus will always be in the [1, 2] range, (openrisc_sim_machine_init sets mc->max_cpus = 2), the compiler can't. Add an assertion to give the compiler a hint there's no use of uninitialized data. 2020-06-09qcow2_format.py: add field-formatting classVladimir Sementsov-Ogievskiy

2020-06-09qcow2_format.py: separate generic functionality of structure classesVladimir Sementsov-Ogievskiy

2020-06-09qcow2_format.py: use strings to specify c-type of struct fieldsVladimir Sementsov-Ogievskiy
We are going to move field-parsing to super-class, this will be simpler with simple string specifiers instead of variables. For some reason, python doesn't allow the definition of ctypes variable in the class alongside fields: it would not be available then for use by the 'for' operator. Don't worry: ctypes will be moved to metaclass soon. 2020-06-09qcow2_format.py: use modern string formattingVladimir Sementsov-Ogievskiy
Use .format and f-strings instead of old %style. Also, the file uses both '' and "" quotes, for consistency let's use '', except for cases when we need '' inside the string (use "" to avoid extra escaping). 2020-06-09Fix parameter type in vhost migration log pathRaphael Norwitz
The ‘enable’ parameter to the vhost_migration_log() function is given as an int, but "true"/"false" values are passed in wherever it is invoked. Inside the function itself it is only ever compared with bool values. Therefore the parameter value itself should be changed to bool. 2020-06-09decodetree: Drop check for less than 2 patterns in a groupRichard Henderson
While it makes little sense for the end product to have a group containing only a single pattern, avoiding this case within an incremental patch set is troublesome. Because this is expected to be a transient condition, do not bother "optimizing" this case, e.g. by folding away the group. 2020-06-09target/mips: Add Loongson-3 CPU definitionHuacai Chen
Loongson-3 CPU family include Loongson-3A R1/R2/R3/R4 and Loongson-3B R1/R2. Loongson-3A R1 is the oldest and its ISA is the smallest, while Loongson-3A R4 is the newest and its ISA is almost the superset of all others. To reduce complexity, we just define two CPU types: 1) "Loongson-3A1000" CPU which is corresponding to Loongson-3A R1. It is suitable for TCG because Loongson-3A R1 has fewest ASE. 2) "Loongson-3A4000" CPU which is corresponding to Loongson-3A R4. It is suitable for KVM because Loongson-3A R4 has the VZ ASE. Loongson-3A has CONFIG6 and CONFIG7, so add their bit-fields as well. 2020-06-09target/mips: fpu: Refactor conversion from ieee to mips exception flagsAleksandar Markovic
The original coversion function is used for regular and MSA floating point instructions handling. Since there are some nuanced differences between regular and MSA floating point exception handling, provide two instances of the conversion function, rather than just a single common one. Inline both instances of this function instances for the sake of performance. Improve variable naming in surrounding code for clarity.
