This adds ASL code as well as scripts for processing it, imported from seabios git tree commit 51684b7ced75fb76776e8ee84833fcfb6ecf12dd Will be used for runtime acpi table generation. Note: This patch reuses some code from SeaBIOS, which was originally under LGPLv2 and then relicensed to GPLv3 or LGPLv3, in QEMU under GPLv2+. This relicensing has been acked by all contributors that had contributed to the code since the v2->v3 relicense. ACKs approving the v2+ relicensing are listed below. Added pci_* wrappers to replace qemu_set_irq, qemu_irq_raise, qemu_irq_lower and qemu_irq_pulse, setting the irq based on PCI_INTERRUPT_PIN. Added pci_allocate_irq wrapper to be used by devices that still need PCIDevice infrastructure to assert irqs. Renamed a static method which was named already pci_set_irq. 2013-09-28smbios: Make multiple -smbios type= accumulate sanelyMarkus Armbruster
Currently, -smbios type=T,NAME=VAL,... adds one field (T,NAME) with value VAL to fw_cfg for each unique NAME. If NAME occurs multiple times, the last one's VAL is used (before the QemuOpts conversion, the first one was used). Multiple -smbios can add multiple fields with the same (T, NAME). SeaBIOS reads all of them from fw_cfg, but uses only the first field (T, NAME). The others are ignored. "First one wins, subsequent ones get ignored silently" isn't nice. We commonly let the last option win. Useful, because it lets you -readconfig first, then selectively override with command line options. Clean up -smbios to work the common way. Accumulate the settings, with later ones overwriting earlier ones. Put the result into fw_cfg (no more useless duplicates). Bonus cleanup: qemu_uuid_parse() no longer sets SMBIOS system uuid by side effect. We allow either tables or fields for the same type. Makes sense, because SeaBIOS uses fields only when no tables are present. We do this by searching the SMBIOS blob for a previously added table or field. Error messages look like this: qemu-system-x86_64: -smbios type=1,serial=42: SMBIOS type 1 table already defined, cannot add field User needs to know that "table" is defined by -smbios file=..., and "field" by -smbios type=... Instead of searching the blob, record additions of interest, and check that. This check is useless, as bigger addresses will be ignored when added to 'io' MemoryRegion, which has a size of 64K. However, some architectures don't use the 'io' MemoryRegion, like the alpha and versatile platforms. They create a PCI I/O region bigger than 64K, so let them handle PCI I/O BARs in the higher range.
