Merge remote-tracking branch 'remotes/thuth-gitlab/tags/pull-request-2021-03-12' into staging
* Move unit and bench tests into separate directories
* Clean-up and improve gitlab-ci jobs
* Drop the non-working "check-speed" makefile target
