2021-05-28test: remove BasicTestingSetup from base32 unit testsfanquake
2021-01-31refactor: replace sizeof(a)/sizeof(a[0]) by std::size (C++17)Sebastian Falbesoner
Removes the macro ARRAYLEN and also substitutes all other uses of the same "sizeof(a)/sizeof(a[0])" pattern by std::size, available since C++17.
2020-11-20Merge #20000: test: fix creation of "std::string"s with \0sWladimir J. van der Laan
ecc6cf1a3b097b9b5b047282063a0b6779631b83 test: fix creation of std::string objects with \0s (Vasil Dimov) Pull request description: A string literal `"abc"` contains a terminating `\0`, so that is 4 bytes. There is no need to write `"abc\0"` unless two terminating `\0`s are necessary. `std::string` objects do not internally contain a terminating `\0`, so `std::string("abc")` creates a string with size 3 and is the same as `std::string("abc", 3)`. In `"\01"` the `01` part is interpreted as one number (1) and that is the same as `"\1"` which is a string like `{1, 0}` whereas `"\0z"` is a string like `{0, 'z', 0}`. To create a string like `{0, '1', 0}` one must use `"\0" "1"`. Adjust the tests accordingly. 2020-09-21net: recognize TORv3/I2P/CJDNS networksVasil Dimov
Recognizing addresses from those networks allows us to accept and gossip them, even though we don't know how to connect to them (yet). Co-authored-by: eriknylund <erik@daychanged.com>

2015-03-12tests: add a BasicTestingSetup and apply to all testsWladimir J. van der Laan
Make sure that chainparams and logging is properly initialized. Doing this for every test may be overkill, but this initialization is so simple that that does not matter. This should fix the travis issues.

2014-08-26Split up util.cpp/hWladimir J. van der Laan
Split up util.cpp/h into: - string utilities (hex, base32, base64): no internal dependencies, no dependency on boost (apart from foreach) - money utilities (parsesmoney, formatmoney) - time utilities (gettime*, sleep, format date): - and the rest (logging, argument parsing, config file parsing) The latter is basically the environment and OS handling, and is stripped of all utility functions, so we may want to rename it to something else than util.cpp/h for clarity (Matt suggested osinterface). Breaks dependency of sha256.cpp on all the things pulled in by util.
2014-03-18Add licenses for tests and test dataWladimir J. van der Laan
- Add license headers to source files (years based on commit dates) in `src/test` as well as `qa` - Add `README.md` to `src/test/data` specifying MIT license Fixes #3848
2013-11-10Cleanup code using forward declarations.Brandon Dahler
Use misc methods of avoiding unnecesary header includes. Replace int typedefs with int##_t from stdint.h. Replace PRI64[xdu] with PRI[xdu]64 from inttypes.h. Normalize QT_VERSION ifs where possible. Resolve some indirect dependencies as direct ones. Remove extern declarations from .cpp files.
2012-06-23Node support for Tor hidden servicesPieter Wuille
This commit adds support for .onion addresses (mapped into the IPv6 by using OnionCat's range and encoding), and the ability to connect to them via a SOCKS5 proxy.
