Move public headers to include/net, and leave private headers in net/.
Put the virtio headers in include/net/tap.h, removing the multiple copies
that existed. Leave include/net/tap.h as the interface for NICs, and
net/tap_int.h as the interface for OS-specific parts of the tap backend.

This patch converts the OpenPIC device to qdev. Along the way it
renames the "openpic" target to "raven" and the "mpic" target to
"fsl_mpic_20", to better reflect the actual models they implement.
This way we have a generic OpenPIC device now that can handle
different flavors of the OpenPIC specification.

When -usb option is used, global varible usb_enabled is set.
And all the plaform will create one USB controller according
to this variable. In fact, global varibles make code hard
to read.
So this patch is to remove global variable usb_enabled and
add USB option in machine options. All the plaforms will get
USB option value from machine options.
USB option of machine options will be set either by:
* -usb
* -machine type=pseries,usb=on
Both these ways can work now. They both set USB option in
machine options. In the future, the first way will be removed.

target_phys_addr_t is unwieldly, violates the C standard (_t suffixes are
reserved) and its purpose doesn't match the name (most target_phys_addr_t
addresses are not target specific). Replace it with a finger-friendly,
standards conformant hwaddr.
Outstanding patchsets can be fixed up with the command
git rebase -i --exec 'find -name "*.[ch]"

This should help us to:
- More easily add or remove machine initialization arguments without
having to change every single machine init function;
- More easily make mechanical changes involving the machine init
functions in the future;
- Let machine initialization forward the init arguments to other
functions more easily.
This change was half-mechanical process: first the struct was added with
the local ram_size, boot_device, kernel_*, initrd_*, and cpu_model local
variable initialization to all functions. Then the compiler helped me
locate the local variables that are unused, so they could be removed.

Functions pci_vga_init() and pci_cirrus_vga_init() are declared
in pc.h. That prevents other platforms (e.g. sPAPR) to use them.
This patch is to create one new file vga-pci.h and move the
declarations to vga-pci.h, so that they can be shared by
all platforms. This patch also cleans up on all platforms.

Currently creating a memory region automatically registers it for
live migration. This differs from other state (which is enumerated
in a VMStateDescription structure) and ties the live migration code
into the memory core.
Decouple the two by introducing a separate API, vmstate_register_ram(),
for registering a RAM block for migration. Currently the same
implementation is reused, but later it can be moved into a separate list,
and registrations can be moved to VMStateDescription blocks.

We are mapping ESCC to a static (incorrect) address on machine init. This
overlaps with our vram, rendering the screen barely usable.
Since openBIOS is clever enough to map ESCC to where it needs to be, we can
just drop that invalid map and everyone's happy.

During testing, I was generating a vmlinux binary that easily occupied
more than 20MB of RAM. Since the current -kernel code loads the initrd
at a fixed address behind the kernel, we were overwriting kernel data
when the kernel got too big.
To finally get rid of the issue, let's calculate the initrd and cmdline
addresses relative to the kernel size, so we can have kernels and initrds
that are as big as they want to - as long as they fit in RAM.

As stated before, devices can be little, big or native endian. The
target endianness is not of their concern, so we need to push things
down a level.
This patch adds a parameter to cpu_register_io_memory that allows a
device to choose its endianness. For now, all devices simply choose
native endian, because that's the same behavior as before.

On KVM for PPC we need to tell the guest which instructions to use when
doing a hypercall. The clean way to do this is to go through an ioctl
from userspace and passing it on to the guest using the device tree.
So let's do the qemu part here: read out the hypercall and pass it on
to the guest's fw_cfg so openBIOS can read it out and expose it again.

These will be used to generate unique id strings for ramblocks. The name
field is required, the device pointer is optional as most callers don't
have a device. When there's no device or the device isn't a child of

A few machines need to translate the ELF header addresses into physical
addresses. Currently the only possibility is to add a value to the
addresses.
This patch replaces the addend argument by and a translation function
and an opaque passed to the function. A NULL function does not translate
the address.
The patch also convert all machines that have an addend, simplify the
PowerPC kernel loading and fix the MIPS kernel loading using this new
feature. Other machines may benefit from this feature.

This grand cleanup drops all reset and vmsave/load related
synchronization points in favor of four(!) generic hooks:
- cpu_synchronize_all_states in qemu_savevm_state_complete
(initial sync from kernel before vmsave)
- cpu_synchronize_all_post_init in qemu_loadvm_state
(writeback after vmload)
- cpu_synchronize_all_post_init in main after machine init
- cpu_synchronize_all_post_reset in qemu_system_reset
(writeback after system reset)
These writeback points + the existing one of VCPU exec after
cpu_synchronize_state map on three levels of writeback:
- KVM_PUT_RUNTIME_STATE (during runtime, other VCPUs continue to run)
- KVM_PUT_RESET_STATE (on synchronous system reset, all VCPUs stopped)
- KVM_PUT_FULL_STATE (on init or vmload, all VCPUs stopped as well)
This level is passed to the arch-specific VCPU state writing function
that will decide which concrete substates need to be written. That way,
no writer of load, save or reset functions that interact with in-kernel
KVM states will ever have to worry about synchronization again. That
also means that a lot of reasons for races, segfaults and deadlocks are
eliminated.
cpu_synchronize_state remains untouched, just as Anthony suggested. We
continue to need it before reading or writing of VCPU states that are
also tracked by in-kernel KVM subsystems.
Consequently, this patch removes many cpu_synchronize_state calls that
are now redundant, just like remaining explicit register syncs.

Our guest systems need to know by how much the timebase increases every second,
so there usually is a "timebase-frequency" property in the cpu leaf of the
device tree.
This property is missing in OpenBIOS.
With qemu, Linux's fallback timebase speed and qemu's internal timebase speed
match up. With KVM, that is no longer true. The guest is running at the same
timebase speed as the host.
This leads to massive timing problems. On my test machine, a "sleep 2" takes
about 14 seconds with KVM enabled.
This patch exports the timebase frequency to OpenBIOS, so it can then put them
into the device tree.

The "Mac99" type so far defines a "U2" based configuration. Unfortunately,
there have never been any U2 based PPC64 machines. That's what the U3 was
developed for.
